Rev. Mark Bersche is a graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana and has faithfully served as pastor of St. John’s since June of 2011. He has a deep love for teaching and discussing theology and enjoys helping others grow in their understanding of Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions. Mark and his wife, Wendy, h
Rev. Mark Bersche is a graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana and has faithfully served as pastor of St. John’s since June of 2011. Mark and his wife, Wendy, have three adult children, Jaedan, Taylor, and Ashleigh, and a granddaughter, who brings great joy to their family.
Pastor Bersche enjoys reading, history, meaningful conversation, and time with family. In earlier years, he served in the United States Marine Corps in the late 1980s.

Wendy has served as the office administrator at St. John’s since May of 2023. A retired nurse and published children’s book author, she brings energy, creativity, and a strong get-things-done approach to her work. Wendy enjoys supporting the life and ministry of the church in both practical and thoughtful ways. Outside of the office, she

Wendy enjoys supporting the life and ministry of the church in both practical and thoughtful ways. Outside of the office, she especially loves her role as “Mimi” to her granddaughter, Everleigh.

Peter has extensive knowledge of graphic design and has volunteered as one of St. John's audio-visual technicians for over three years. Peter and his family are long-time members of St. Johns.

As church organist, Tony has been providing inspiring and uplifting music at St. John's since July of 2022.
Tony also directs both our vocal and handbell choirs.

Steve's experience in IT has been put to excellent use as one of St. John's Audio-Visual Technicians. Not only does Steve volunteer his time and talent, he, and his wife Kristin, children, James and Stephanie also worship weekly at St. Johns.
